A Korean proxy service purchases items in Korea on your behalf and helps arrange delivery overseas. With Ships From Korea, you can submit a product link or browse our storefronts, pay for the purchase, and have eligible orders packed together at our Korean warehouse. International shipping is paid separately after the parcel is packed and measured.
Found an album edition that is missing from the global store? A skincare set sold on the Korean site? A Bunjang photocard whose seller only offers local delivery? Finding the item is often easier than completing the order from abroad.
The next step depends on where you get stuck: payment, Korean delivery, or both. This guide explains how to choose a buying method, plan the full cost, and order through Ships From Korea.
Proxy Buying or Package Forwarding
The difference is who places the original order with the Korean seller.
| Your situation | Suitable method | Who buys the item |
|---|---|---|
| The store accepts your payment and ships the exact item to your country | Direct international checkout | You buy from the store |
| You can complete checkout, but the store only delivers within Korea | Package forwarding | You buy; a forwarder receives and sends the parcel overseas |
| You cannot complete the Korean checkout or need help purchasing the listing | Proxy buying | A buying service places the Korean order for you |
A Korean address solves the delivery part. If the store also rejects your payment or requires an account you cannot use, you need purchase assistance.
Ships From Korea's buying service connects the purchase with warehouse receiving, packing, and international dispatch. You pay through our checkout, and our team handles the Korean purchase. If direct international checkout works for your exact item, compare its full delivered cost before choosing.
What You Can Buy Through Ships From Korea
Start with the product you want, then confirm the exact option and whether it can be shipped to your destination.
K-pop Albums and Merchandise
For albums, photocards, and artist merchandise, specify the version, member, quantity, and any preorder benefit you want. A random version cannot be made member-selectable simply by adding a note. For a preorder, check the release date before planning a combined shipment with items already available.
Korean Skincare and Cosmetics
For an Olive Young skincare set or makeup item, check the shade, capacity, and included products. A large promotional image may show gifts that depend on the selected option or offer period. Our guide to Olive Young 1+1 sets explains what to check.
Korean Fashion and Store Finds
Send the exact product link and record the size and color as listed. For clothing, compare garment measurements with something you already own. For shoes, include the seller's size label. These details are more useful than a general request such as “medium” or “my usual size.”
Bunjang Photocards and Collectibles
Ships From Korea is an official Bunjang partner. Browse our Bunjang storefront for K-pop goods, trading cards, fashion, and other resale listings.
For a photocard, check the member, release, and retailer benefit. For a Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh! card, check the language, card number, and condition. Partner status describes our relationship with Bunjang; it does not authenticate every seller's item.
Read the Bunjang buying guide for the dedicated listing and checkout process.
How to Buy and Ship from Korea
Step 1 Find Your Item
Browse selected products in the Ships From Korea shop, explore Bunjang listings, or paste a Korean store URL into our purchase request form.
For a regular product-link request, check the loaded information. If the details do not load, enter the product name, KRW price, Korean domestic delivery fee, quantity, and options manually. Screenshots help when the selection is shown only in an image.
Bunjang uses its own listing flow: check current price and availability before adding the item to your cart. Its price and Korean delivery charge come from the listing and cannot be manually changed at checkout.
Step 2 Review the Details and Pay
Confirm the item, options, domestic delivery, and service charges. Complete the purchase payment so our team can proceed with the Korean order.
Payment starts the purchase attempt. The item is secured once the seller purchase is confirmed. If a paid item cannot be purchased, the unavailable purchase moves through the refund process.
Step 3 Wait for Warehouse Arrival
After a successful purchase, the seller delivers the item to our warehouse in Korea. Follow its progress in your account. If you want several orders shipped together, wait until all the eligible items you intend to combine have arrived.
Step 4 Request Packing
Request packing for one order or combined packing for eligible orders. Consider any photo or protective-packing services you need before packing is completed. For collectibles, make clear which original boxes and packaging you want to keep.
Step 5 Choose and Pay for International Shipping
We weigh and measure the packed parcel. You can then review the available shipping options for your destination, choose a service, and pay the international shipping charge. After dispatch, follow the shipment tracking in your account.
Our how-to-use guide walks through the full sequence.
How Much a Korean Proxy Service Costs
Budget for the complete order: merchandise, Korean domestic delivery, buying fees, international shipping, and any applicable add-ons or import charges.
Ships From Korea's standard buying fees, as of October 14, 2026, are:
- Service fee: 5% of the item cost plus Korean domestic shipping.
- Handling fee: $3 per item type or SKU. Multiple identical units on the same item line do not multiply this fee.
- International shipping: calculated separately from the packed parcel and destination.
- Optional services: charged according to the selected service and current pricing.
An Example Purchase Budget
Suppose one item type costs the equivalent of $100 and Korean domestic shipping is $5. Using those illustrative USD amounts:
- Item cost: $100.00.
- Korean delivery: $5.00.
- Service fee: 5% of $105.00 = $5.25.
- Handling fee: $3.00.
- Purchase subtotal: $113.25 before international shipping, optional services, and applicable import charges.
Your checkout applies the current exchange rate and rounding. Marketplace charges may also be reflected in the displayed item price, so use the amount shown for your actual order.
Check the current pricing page and review the checkout breakdown before paying. Where tax pre-collection applies, the estimated charge is shown before the purchase payment; otherwise, customs or the carrier may collect destination charges later.
When Combining Orders Can Help
Imagine buying an album, a skincare set, and a shirt from three Korean stores. Instead of arranging a separate international shipment for each order, you can request combined packing once the eligible items are at our warehouse.
This can reduce repeated international shipping charges and unnecessary outer packaging. The result depends on the combined parcel: a large box, fragile item, or service weight limit can change which option makes sense. Consolidation also leaves each seller's Korean delivery charges in place.
Plan Around the Storage Window
The current policy includes 30 days of storage, followed by a $1 daily storage charge. Plan around your account's arrival and storage dates when waiting for other orders. Items may be disposed of after 90 days under the storage terms on our pricing page.
For an album preorder several months away, shipping the items already in the warehouse may make more sense than holding everything for one box.
Check Parcel Size as Well as Weight
International carriers may charge using actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is greater. Volumetric weight accounts for the space a parcel occupies.
For example, a box measuring 40 × 30 × 20 cm has a volumetric weight of 4.8 kg when the service uses a divisor of 5,000. Even if it weighs 3 kg on a scale, its chargeable weight may start from 4.8 kg before the service's rounding rules. The divisor and rules depend on the shipping service.
Use our shipping calculator to explore a budget before ordering. The final payable quote uses the actual packed measurements.
Checks That Prevent Common Ordering Problems
- Confirm the exact option. Record the shade, size, member, edition, and quantity. This product-option guide can help with Korean selection fields.
- Check where the item ships from. A Korean website can list stock located overseas. SFK buying requests should be for items delivered domestically within Korea.
- Review shipping eligibility before purchase. Consult our prohibited-items guide, especially for perfumes, aerosols, loose batteries, and other restricted goods.
- Keep delivery stages separate. Seller processing, Korean delivery, warehouse packing, international transit, and customs all contribute to the total wait. A carrier's transit estimate covers only part of that journey.
Start with the Korean Product You Want
Have a product link ready? Create a purchase request and confirm the exact item and options. If you are still browsing, explore our shop or Bunjang storefront.
Ships From Korea takes your order from the Korean seller to our warehouse, then prepares it for delivery to your destination. Choose your item first, plan your shipping budget, and follow each stage in your account.
Do I Need a Korean Bank Account
You pay Ships From Korea through the payment methods available at checkout. Our team handles the Korean seller purchase, so you do not need to make that local payment yourself.
Can I Buy from More Than One Korean Store
Yes. Submit the products you want and follow their arrivals. Once the eligible orders are in the warehouse, you can request combined packing.
Can I Buy from Bunjang Without Checking Out on Bunjang Myself
Yes. Browse our Bunjang storefront, check the listing's current price and availability, and order through Ships From Korea. We handle the Korean purchase and subsequent shipping arrangements.
Why Are There Two Payments
The first pays for the Korean purchase and related fees. The second pays for international shipping after packing establishes the parcel's weight and dimensions. This lets you choose shipping using the actual parcel details.
Is a Proxy Service Always Cheaper Than Buying Directly
The better value depends on the order. Direct checkout may work well for one item with affordable international delivery. Proxy buying is useful when you cannot complete the purchase yourself, want a particular Korean listing, or plan to combine eligible orders. Compare the full cost for your situation.
